How are the ordered products delivered?
We ship from Italy to most International destinations, using Postal Service Registered Mail with return receipt (standard service). Shipping requires signature upon delivery.
Express courier (Fedex or Ups) USA and Canada: € 18,00 ALL EXPENSES INCLUDED
The parcel can be tracked, delivery is 24 to 48 hours from our store departure. We make every effort to ship all orders within 1-3 business days.
Express courier (Fedex or Ups) service rest of the world: from € 9,90 (Europe) to € 69,00 ALL EXPENSES INCLUDED
The shipping cost and the carrier changes from country to country. It will be shown to you while you proceed with your order. The parcel can be tracked, delivery is 2/4 from our store departure. We make every effort to ship all orders within 1-3 business days.
Standard Postal Service: € 15,00 ALL EXPENSES INCLUDED
Postal Service takes approximately 10 days to 2 weeks to most locations. The delivery time with postal shipping option is NOT guaranteed. It is merely based on the average delivery time of majority of orders shipped through postal mail. Although we make every effort to ship all orders within 1-3 business days, their delivery is beyond our control and it entirely depends on the postal service. Therefore some orders may take longer to arrive. The parcels to USA can be tracked from Italy to delivery. You will receive delivery or attempted delivery information.
To ensure your order arrives on time for the special occasions, we highly recommend you place your order as early as possible.
How is the payment done?
How long does it take to receive the ordered products?
All orders will be shipped after credit card approval and order processing. This process may take 1 to 5 business days at which time the order will be posted.
The delivery time depends on the post office service from the country where it is done, but we send the parcel within 5 working days from the order.
For large, corporate or special purchases the lead time will be arranged with the customer before placing an order.

Customs, Duties and Taxes
The payment of custom fees is the responsibility of the client and is levied based on the laws of the country into which the products are being shipped. Your packages may be subject to customs fees and import duties of the country to which you have your order shipped. You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from us, the recipient is the importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
Orders that are shipped to countries outside EEC may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. In case a custom fee is due Ups will take all the necessary steps to ensure that your parcel is delivered without delay. In this case you will receive the invoice of the custom fee from Ups.
If you are in EEC country you may return items sold by Profumo.it within 15 days of delivery for a full refund of their price.
The product should be in its original packaging and should not be noticably consumed.
We CANNOT accept returns from NON EEC countries, including USA, because of the custom charges and paper work that such a return would entail.
For this reason we have set up a sampling program, in order to allow our customers to test small bottles of our perfumes.

As a general policy we do not accept any unannounced parcel.
Are refundable only the products sold in sealed spray bottles whose contents cannot possibly be tampered with, such as the scents of the soul, special scents and perfumetherapy fragrances.
Products sold in dropper or unsealed bottles such as products for Aromatherapy, Sheikhs perfumes or raw materials such as the tincturing kits are not refundable.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of sending your package to us, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time the bank takes to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item.
